Hi, I'm Swati Mittal
I am an Analytics Architect working in the Adobe Analytics and data engineering space. I built this wiki because I remember how painful and confusing Adobe Analytics onboarding felt — a huge platform, scattered documentation, and no mental models that made sense coming from a data engineering background.
My mission with this academy is simple: make Adobe Analytics learning simpler. Every page is built around the idea that you already know data and databases, and Adobe Analytics is just a different way of thinking about the same problems. The concepts are straightforward once they click.
I've structured everything to move fast — start with the core learning journey, grab reference material as you need it, and defer the deep-end complexity (multi-suite architecture, CJA migration) to electives so it doesn't bog down your first weeks.
Why I built this
Adobe Analytics is powerful but it has a reputation for being hard to learn. Most of that friction isn't the platform — it's the onboarding story. This wiki changes that story by:
- Mapping everything to data fundamentals, so nothing feels alien
- Two running examples (the fictional Example Super superannuation fund's site search and complaint form) that run through every session and use case
- No fluff. The only complexity here is what you actually need to build things
- Copy-paste ready. Code snippets are generic and instantly usable in any project
